Meet Chef Tracy
Chef Tracy is the heart and soul behind Bay Shore Community Hall and Carolyn Mae Pies. Chef Tracy came from humble beginnings, raised in a small town called Stuttgart, Arkansas, which is the Rice and Duck Capital of the World. She grew up in the kitchen surrounded by women cooking from scratch. Sunday dinner at the table is her favorite childhood memory, and her personal mission is "bringing families back to the table, one family at a time." She has a love for cooking with a southern flare.

Tracy graduated from Dorsey Culinary Schools in Roseville, MI in 2010. She graduated top of her class as outstanding student of the year by the ACF Michigan Chefs de cuisine Association. Her career started at the Detroit Institute of Arts under Executive Chef Larry Duren where her passion to serve people and her community evolved. She worked at The Townhouse Hotel, Birmingham MI, Bay Harbor Yacht Club and as Head Chef at Lake Street Pub.

Chef Tracy also cooks for her church family at Emmanuel Evangelical Church and is inspired by a deep desire to serve the Bay Shore area. Chef Tracy has built a thriving food truck and catering business that brings families and friends together over delicious, homemade pies and comforting meals. Her passion goes beyond just great food. She’s committed to building community and making sure everyone feels welcome at the table.
Chef Tracy is ready for her next adventure: opening a community center dedicated to spreading love through food, especially during the colder months when the tourists have gone and many locals face tough times. With her warm spirit and generous heart, Chef Tracy invites everyone, no matter their background, to come together, share a meal and find connection. At Bay Shore Community Hall, all are truly welcome!

“We Make Them, You Bake Them”
We offer take home whole unbaked pies that you can bake off yourself or keep in the freezer so you have something easy on hand.
Family Pie Contracts
We offer a family connection contract along with our whole pies. This gives your family a way to be accountable for being present (and off of your phones) while you share a meal together!
